NYC Lip Sliders Tinted Lipbalm in SUGAR COATED

I've been looking for a reliable lip gloss or lip balm that I don't need to re-apply every often especially the kind of work I do plus its winter and its freezing cold! So I went to Walmart last night after work and browse the makeup aisle and this tinted lip balm I remember was one of the gurus in Youtube's monthly favorite. Just by looking at it you won't be attracted right away, but by having my Iphone with me I searched some of the Youtube's reviews and decided to give it a try. I was kinda hesitant because NYC's line of makeup usually is one of the drug store makeup's taken for granted. Actually this is the first product I bought from NYC together with the mosaic face powder and another scent which is the SUGAR RUSH

PRICE: $2.44 at Walmart

Weight : 9 g/ .32 oz

PROS:
               last long- I applied this morning and its still on
               inexpensive compared to other  drug store brand
               moisturizes my lips more than my EOS lip balm
               not too sugary smell
               light scent
               its opaque but buildable
               packaging is cute, slides all the way
               its my favorite now!

CONS:
               non hygienic needs to use a lip brush
               this shade is to sheer on my natural lip color
               it has paraben

 This is a light pinkish color. On my lip I applied 2 times and I felt that its already moisturized upon application. People that are sensitive to strong scent like me will like it. Over all I'm gonna buy this again if I ran out. This is my favorite now!

That's how sheer it is, but IMO, it creates a natural lip color for just couple application. If you visit HolyAnnaeree blog on the left side of my bar, she said its a dupe of MAC's BOY BAIT cremesheen....

I know for sure that this is my favorite now, my EOS lip balm will sit for awhile, what's your favorite lip balm this kind of weather?

Wet N Wild coloricon single eyeshadow

I got this eyeshadow in RiteAide when they were having a 40% sale several days ago. I decided to get KITTEN, NUTTY, ENVY and PENNY. I got this for $1.19 a piece! Anyway sad to say because of rushing too much and procastinating before Christmas I ended up breaking the ENVY!

PROS:
            creamy, silky, pigmented
            doesn't break me out
            color pay off is awesome
            lots of this eyeshadow are dupe of Nars
            long lasting with eyeshadow primer on
            with just one swipe the color is visible
            wearable color, can be an everyday look

CONS: they should have more shades to choose from
             addicting! haha

This is my favorite among all the single eyeshadow, perfect for this holiday and for everyday look. Ever since I got this, I've been using it constantly. Here's the swatch below

It has like a golden undertone, this is what it exactly how it show up on your skin.....

Isn't that pretty? Guess what? I read somewhere that you can use it as blush, I tried and wow, amazing look! yey!

The famous NUTTY shade, its gorgeous color, its a taupe shade! Swatch below

Just one swipe on this swatch, if you want it darker why not, get that taupey color you want!

If you love purples like me, you gotta have this baby!

One swipe only, make it even more darker if you want to......

                                       (image is from Makeup Alley) mine is broken

                                                               Swatch below

 I swiped 2 times and it gives this kind of shade, I wear this at work today with my greens  and I got a compliment :)

Second try of Olay

After Christmas, I went out and it so happen that its my day off so I wander around couple of store to just see anything interesting to try and of course its gonna be a 50% to 75% off from the original price. Went to Walmart and saw this gift pack of 50% off. I tried one Olay moisturizer before and so far  I didn't break out so why not because my Clinique Moisturizer is almost out.

I think this is a good deal. I know that for sure because Olay moisturizers alone are 25 bucks or more each and for this pack I got  a bit of everything. Its $32 value but got only for $10 yay!

And its MADE IN USA so its a plus! Almost you buy around here in USA is freakin made in China which is a total disappointment!

Happy Shopping with good bargains!

L. A. Girl nail polish in Addict

This is my christmas nail polish! L. A. Girl I guess is under LA colors not sure though. I used 2 coat and finish it up with my Sally Hansen Insta Dri as usual.

I bought it for $2.99 in Fred Meyers. Its pigmented, the color is bold maybe because its red though. It has some glitters in it so its perfect for the holiday. I wear this at grandmas for christmas and the next day at my mother in law's celebration. Mind to share what you wear on Christmas?

China Glaze in Spontaneous

It's my long time favorite shade of China Glaze, spontaneous! I love love this shade. I did 2 coat of this one and for my top coat is Sally Hansen Insta- Dri. I'm not using Seche Vite anymore because it does rip off easily after a day or two.

From Bath & Body Works

I was shopping for Christmas present and came across bath and body works again. Can't resist this goodies especially if they are cheap. A buck each isn't bad at all so I got 6 more pocketbac added to the 5 I had last time. I have 3 cupcakes in red velvet,strawberry and lemon glaze. I decided to get the Winter Candy Apple, I love this one, I have a hand soap in my bathroom and smells awesome. The fresh lime basil and Comet's ginger mint smells good too!

I got this signature collection of lotions with the same price, a buck each and 2 ounces per bottle. They are Bali Mango, Hawaii coconut and Fiji Passion Fruit. I can't decide which variant is my fave because they all smell good. Do you have any favorites? Let me know

From RiteAid

Rite Aide is having 40% off on Maybelline products and Wet N Wild cosmetics so I went there and grab some goodies. Here's what I got:

                                6 eyeshadow palette in LUST and VANITY
                                Mega Eyes creme eyeliner in Black
                                single eyeshadow in Kitten and Envy
                                lippie in Think Pink(901B)
                                Maybelline Dream Smooth mousse

I started using them even before posting this! Can't wait!

Bath and Body Works PocketBac

I saw these little cuties from my co worker one time and I was surprised how handy they are especially at work that we need to sanitize as often as possible. On my day off I was glad I found time to go to the mall with my friend, so got this for $5 for 5. Its an ounces each tube with different scents. I didn't really like the Holiday Edition, but maybe because I squirt lots of body spray on my palm already and didn't have the chance to smell each of them, oh well maybe next time, I'll check on the other variants. Its only 68% alcohol though so don't rely on it as an antibacterial, what I do is I wash my hand and squirt a lil bit and your hands smell like heaven. They sell the holder for $.50 each, my favorite among the 5 I grab is midnight pomegranate!

Rimmel Nailpolish in Steel Grey

As the label implies its long lasting finish pro which is actually right. I've been wanting to try this shade as I was sorta disppointed with Orly's grey shade.

The good thing about this is it has the big size applicator which helps you with just two swipe. This is the biggest applicator I saw among the nailpolish in the store.

This will be gorgeous if you have light skintone. Easy to apply, creamy and shiny finish look.I always use top coat in every nailpolish I do.  Over all I like this shade and probably be buying more of this line.

PRICE is $3.99 at Walmart

Elf's contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

I'm not into bronzing powder actually, I just have one from Prestige and I just used it couple of times. Makes my skin so dark rather I want a glow in my face. I love the packaging, it has big mirror in it. The packaging is similar to Nars only that Elf isn't rubbery.

This palette have a light gold shimmers in it. I have the whole studio powder blush of Elf but I couldn't get a dupe of this contouring blush. The bronzer is way too brown on my skin, I wiped it off after application. Looks like your putting a mud on your face, the color isn't appealing either. Nontheless, I like the color of the blush, its a light pink peachy color. The shimmers isn't to vivid, looks natural on your cheeks!

This is how exactly it appears on my skin, the color, look how the bronzer settles? Yay BUT I tried using the bronzer as a neutral look eye shadow and it works well!

I've been using the blush a lot lately not the bronzer though, I'm telling ya its an uber dark brown.........The picture above I took in natural light without a flash.

PRICE: $3

Weight: .14oz/4.0g

WHAT I LIKE:

* the blush has gold light shimmers and pigmented
* blush is buildable
*blush last long for several hours just like the other Elf's blushes but what I do is layer a cream blush makes it last longer
* the price is affordable
* the blush shows up well on my cheeks

Airy Fairy Lipstick by Rimmel

* non drying
* pigmented
* light bubble gum smell
* last for 4 hours

I WILL DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN!

Revlon PhotoReady Liquid Foundation

Soon as the beauty bloggers and gurus were talking about this foundation I tried it myself to know how its like on me. I hit the store and eyeing on their sale. I got this at Walgreens for buy one get one half off! You know a beauty fanatic but wants to get the products IF  possible for FREE! haha. Ok ever since I tried this, I've been using this everyday. I tried the colorstay foundie but its yellowish on  me and I don't like the bottle it doesn't have pump so I end up pouring more than what I need. All I can say is this is the right foundation for me. I wouldn't even bother to buy another until I run out of it! I find it easy for me to get the right shade for me.

In fact I even use 2 different shades and it ooks fine. Probably because I don't really need that much foundation on my face. One small pump is enough. I use GOLDEN BEIGE and MEDIUM BEIGE works well for me! Just a hint of little dark on me but its not that noticeable when I use the Medium Beige.

They look almost thesame does it?
Picture above shows how they look after rubbing them on my hand. The shimmery effect doesn't show up that much, its wearable everyday that you don't need to go for a photo shoot to wear it.
PRICE $12.99 at Walgreens and of course lesser in Walmart
WHAT I LIKE

*a little goes a long way
*easy to find the right shade for me
*oil free and fragrance free
*easy to blend
*last long
*the pump makes it more hygenic and its easier to control how much you just needed

Elf's Nail Polish in Burgundy

I got this nail polish a week ago in my local store selling Elf"s cosmetics. They were on sale for 59 cents a piece. What a steal! Though I didn't own any of their nail polish before I was kinda hesitant to get it so I just decided to get 3 of them haha, what a freak! So I decided to try this color first. BURGUNDY! I'm telling you over and over again, I don't wear red at all, BUT the little golden undertone shimmers is pretty.

I did 3 coat of the picture above because I want to bring up more the golden light shimmers. You can do just 2 coat because its really opaque and creamy. I used a top coat of course to last for like until 5 days or so but I usually change my nail polish so often every 3 days just cause.....

My Makeup Brushes

I just wanna share to you some of my makeup brushes. Some are from Elf's and Eco tools obviously. I love the eco tools brushes, affordable and you can buy it anywhere. Some of them I bought in Walmart and in my local store. Elf's blending brush I got it for a buck and the studio brushes for $3 but I'm frugal so I bought it when Elf's was on 60% off on their Studio Line lol.

The only pricey among my brushes  is the Sonia Kashuk Highlighter brush which according to Youtube gurus are most like the dupe of MAC's #187 brush. I use it everyday for my blush or for highlighting. PRICE is $13 at Target.

I just used some of them. Pretty much everyday this is what I use, need to wash it after applying my makeup. My favorite among them is the POWDER BRUSH from Elf, I can use it for applying my foundation, blushes and as a highlighter, I have 3 of them. Now I don't feel guilty about spending, all of my beauty stuff are pretty much cheap that works well on me. Any cheaper alternatives out there? lol

And oh the one missing here is my Elf's kabuki brush, I'm still drying it.
