</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used this for a week or 2 now and I'm loving it so far, I usually like the look that's bronzy and natural if I am under the sun for an out door activity or simply an everyday look at work. At first I used as a blush and I love love it, I actually set aside my Milani blushes because of this, it looks so natural and glowy but not too shimmery. Gives you a light bronzy on your cheek when you swirl it around with a brush. If you swirl your brush excluding the last stripe gives you a mauvy blush. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I played with it and it can be use as a eyeshadow, with 4 bucks, the over all color pay off is hands down, pigmented and last a long time on my face. Remember my skin type is normal to dry, I use water base moisturizer and oil free foundation and everything last a long time even after 8 hours of working.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

The directions are pretty much easy, apply your favorite nail polish, wait until its dry then apply the Crackle Glaze as thin if you want it more cracks to form, thicker if you want it less in a little bolder. Wait it dries a bit and finish it up with your favorite top coat..... done and enjoy....its actually easy than applying a perfect nail polish in solid color, this one doesn't need to be perfect because it's topped off with the crackle, can't wait to try the other shades, I'll wait for Sally's coupon again or any sale I would spot lol, fun! <br />

Sunday is my usual grocery shopping day so I can't help but to see what's going on in the beauty isle yesterday, I was curious because Cosmetics Aficionado mentioned about Essence is in Fred Meyers now, so I decided to try their nail polish for $.99 cents, not bad. I got the <span style="color: #990000;">LIME UP</span>, <span style="color: #990000;">WHAT DO YOU THINK</span> and<span style="color: #990000;"> MELLOW</span> <span style="color: #990000;">YELLOW</span>. They have also a limited edition of Essence which I picked up the Multi Color Powder for $2.99, and then I saw the limited edition of Wet n' Wild and just grab one nail polish in<span style="color: #990000;"> Waves of Enchantment</span>. I went to Sally's after and just grab the China Glaze in CRACKLE GLAZE in <span style="color: #990000;">Black Mesh</span>, they sent me the 15% off coupon so I used it and ended up paying $4 something which isn't bad as the OPI version which is $8.50. <br />
<br />
I will be posting soon as I have time what's the nail polish look like on my nails, I'm gonna be using the powder today also at work and see how it goes, hopefully its gonna be a good week for me at work.......Have a wonderful week ahead beauties.....Chantzyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11162902450756277347noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3991916353990989747.post-26634808888077770472011-05-08T01:50:00.000-07:002011-05-08T01:50:20.636-07:00Milani Baked Powder Blush<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;">Luminoso is what I've been wearing lately, it's like a peachy with golden tones to it. Definitely will give you a glow if you are like me who likes glow on your cheeks. The shimmers are not really visible. </span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;">Berry Amore is medium mauve with gold shimmers in it. I like wearing this with my mauve lip gloss and its perfect. This might be too deep with light skin as for me not that too dark. </span></span><br />

<br />
It comes with a mirror when you flip the bottom part of the compact with a small brush which I don't wanna recommend using it, better use your own brush, well as for me I don't like most of the brush that comes with the product, not as good as the real ones.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>The Packaging</b></span><br />
<br />
I don't really care about the packaging, it has a golden rim which I don't mind. With a drug store product that beats all the blushes in the store and the quality is compared to department store brands is enough for me for an affordable price. You are actually paying less for the quality alone, if it would be a high end one, the better packaging it would be. <br />

Pigmentation is awesome, it can be use dry or wet, wet for more pigmentation and deeper color. It last for my 8 hour shift at work of course with a primer and foundation on. <br />
<br />
Swatches above is taken in a natural light, this is how it looks like on my skin tone NC 37 to 40 for reference.....it can be bold if you want more pigmentation<br />
<br />
I would definitely buy some more of the remaining shades available, good addition to your stash, worth it. <br />
<br />
I am keeping an eye on Corallina and Tera Sole for my bronzer this summer. I have lots of blushes that I can't use for a life time. It sucks to live nearby so many stores, plus ULTA and MARSHALLS are just like 20 minutes drive where I live now, actually newly open stores here in my place, shoootttt the only way I don't spend on my day off is when I sleep all day.....how about you? what you do to not make your self spend for unnecessary things like these? tell me fellaaaasss... ^__^ thanks for taking time to read.....<br />

April is my birthday month so I was thinking what would I get for my self but its not a tough decision for a frugal like me because I am a sucker of purse.I waited actually for the 30% off in store purchase at Coach outlet to get the one on my wish list on the right side bar. Not exactly what I want but I decided to get this kind instead, why? because the strap of this is leather and the wish list is cloth, last long if its leather in my opinion. Besides I don't care because I will use this mainly for summer vacation.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0m-AFufhJq8/TcA4rOOGXII/AAAAAAAAAVQ/NllLL55iJoU/s1600/c2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0m-AFufhJq8/TcA4rOOGXII/AAAAAAAAAVQ/NllLL55iJoU/s400/c2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Plus I love the color, I think its khaki but not too dark...I was trying to research the name of it but heck can't find it. If you know the name of this purse I would love to know..... <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mVPQzjBbkFE/TcA4sEAIUPI/AAAAAAAAAVU/HUnGvjuTZYg/s1600/c3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mVPQzjBbkFE/TcA4sEAIUPI/AAAAAAAAAVU/HUnGvjuTZYg/s400/c3.JPG" width="317" /></a></div><br />
This is a cross body purse or the swing pack kind. I like the way its versatile, you can use it as a shoulder bag also because it has the adjustable button on the side of the strap. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P0DgPSX6xpM/TcA4syGcIeI/AAAAAAAAAVY/_BzzorsqAKA/s1600/c4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P0DgPSX6xpM/TcA4syGcIeI/AAAAAAAAAVY/_BzzorsqAKA/s400/c4.JPG" width="317" /></a></div><br />
<br />
That's how it looks like on the shortest way, but in the store its like the both ends meet on the other side and it looks smaller but I can't figure out how to do it, deymmmm, teach me Ok LOL <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3e5mPmL-Fms/TcA4tcE3LpI/AAAAAAAAAVc/Z3Ywmi5cDSA/s1600/c5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3e5mPmL-Fms/TcA4tcE3LpI/AAAAAAAAAVc/Z3Ywmi5cDSA/s400/c5.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
That's the receipt! this is 50% off plus 30% off of all the items in store that day, so went down to $87.49 ONLY! I saved $190.51 from $278 regular price......This is my hubby's present to me on my birthdayyyyy...he never knew anything about Coach purse then, I need to teach him LOL, girls you need to teach your man the things you need or excuse me the things you want LOL....besides he should be lucky because I picked up the cheaper ones......<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tehHR-03l90/TcA40f7GGJI/AAAAAAAAAVg/IkTyST2iMvQ/s1600/w1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tehHR-03l90/TcA40f7GGJI/AAAAAAAAAVg/IkTyST2iMvQ/s400/w1.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
As a present for my self, I bought a wallet....this is my first coach wallet you know....I don't know why I chose this color but I think its cute.... <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KYgKiGn5LZk/TcA40nVJE3I/AAAAAAAAAVk/PXZyHFstnjI/s1600/w2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KYgKiGn5LZk/TcA40nVJE3I/AAAAAAAAAVk/PXZyHFstnjI/s400/w2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
That's how it looks like on the other side.......the color of the lining looks like my lip gloss on the day I bought this, I didn't notice until hubby told me haha.....<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

Love the style, the leather lining and all, they have the cloth ones but I don't like it, what's the point of buying coach when you don't go after the good quality leather anyways... <br />
<br />

</div>So I went today at Nordstrom to check out the opening of Wonder Woman from MAC. I got there by 10:30ish and I thought I would expect crowd, but not yet! Nordstrom opens at 10am so I thought I can't take any pictures or even swatch at all. I am so lucky! though I just drive 12 to 15 minutes away from my house to reach the mall. First thing I noticed is the gigantic packaging of the MSF, my gawddd this is the biggest compact I've ever seen so far in makeup products, almost the size of my palm! I really reacted and laugh and the SA was laughing with me LOL.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DSkQ4gEqveA/TVW4i-fc0fI/AAAAAAAAAVA/MjuWGSO8Nmw/s1600/ww4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DSkQ4gEqveA/TVW4i-fc0fI/AAAAAAAAAVA/MjuWGSO8Nmw/s400/ww4.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">click to enlarge </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Anyway I was playing it with my hand and couldn't stop smiling. I was thinking of getting it but heck its $35 pffttttttt leave it LOL. I can find dupe out there (rolling my eyes). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And the makeup bag for $30 a piece its not worth it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So as a frugal shopper I just grab the Lip glass in EMANCIPATION and the BLUSH DUO in MIGHTY APHRODITE. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">FROM MAC SITE: </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><b><i>A short, round, flat-topped brush ideal for the smooth, easy application of foundations, creams, emulsions, and select powder products. Features a blend of natural bristles and synthetic fibres.</i></b><br />
<br />
<b><i>16cm in length</i></b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">In search for my HG foundation I want to make sure I am doing it right, tools and saving money wise, saving because small brush means small amount of foundation to use I believe. So I decided to give this a try instead of the 187 though its just a couple bucks difference in price. Late last year I broke out since I started drinking coffee in which I thought is the reason. Zits on my forehead which I hate to see because I'm not use to it. The worst thing is it heals so freaking slow that the scar is visible until now, some are fading but I couldn't wait til its gone. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bLfkDMbDSoY/TVWqQUk5y3I/AAAAAAAAAUg/kvZNQLekC5o/s1600/130b.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bLfkDMbDSoY/TVWqQUk5y3I/AAAAAAAAAUg/kvZNQLekC5o/s400/130b.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I use this for my liquid foundation samples that I have and works well. Its just small compared to the 187. The main reason I chose this instead is I want to focus more on my problem areas in which I am happy about. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-otT3kLUzl4c/TVWqQ2IabRI/AAAAAAAAAUk/73Ku2w1RZ_g/s1600/130c.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-otT3kLUzl4c/TVWqQ2IabRI/AAAAAAAAAUk/73Ku2w1RZ_g/s400/130c.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div>It just need a little patience in application, smaller means more stroke and buffing to do. But I don't mind doing it cause it gives an even coverage on my problem areas.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_7V_JjZRiu8/TVWqRLIK7HI/AAAAAAAAAUo/Zw4gPUo3jPo/s1600/130d.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_7V_JjZRiu8/TVWqRLIK7HI/AAAAAAAAAUo/Zw4gPUo3jPo/s400/130d.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I would definitely buy the 187 as soon as my scars is gone. I am working on it though, I am religiously putting oil, moisturizing and mask every day on rotation to help fade the scars. I think this brushes are good investment, knowing that all of my things last a long time under my care is a plus to me. In fact until now I'm still using my eco tool brush, going 3 years now and I still have it. I think cleaning and taking care of things helps you save money. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GKoNc9c7jEU/TVWqRpNb8mI/AAAAAAAAAUs/A4OSUVawp5s/s1600/130e.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GKoNc9c7jEU/TVWqRpNb8mI/AAAAAAAAAUs/A4OSUVawp5s/s400/130e.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Xd1YTAFSSco/TVWqSMgHB6I/AAAAAAAAAUw/SH1j4IwvN2s/s1600/130f.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Xd1YTAFSSco/TVWqSMgHB6I/AAAAAAAAAUw/SH1j4IwvN2s/s400/130f.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div>I washed it several times already and so far no shedding at all. It has a little bit smell when it was new but nothing that a baby shampoo can do the job. Over all I love this brush, I cleaned it every two times of using it.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Photo above is just under a normal light, no flash on the camera. I can describe as a pinky peach color with gold undertone in it. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: left;">It's pretty color, and I'm glad I didn't regret buying it, otherwise I always return what I buy if I'm not happy with it. Its wearable anytime of the day with my skin tone. It's buildable, make it lighter or bold depends on your preference.....</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For reference I am comparing it with my drugstore favorite blush by Elf in Peachy Keen. Springsheen is more pigmented, with just few stroke you can achieve the pinky peach golden tone that I love. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>I think this is one of my staple blush from now on, last for 8 hours to me, with primer on of course. <br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Finally I taught my self to get an expensive brand of makeup(well in my case) in my hands. Whenever I go to JC Penny I usually go to Sephora and swatch makeups, and this is the one that I wanna purchase first when I lost my self (LOL) from BENEFIT COSMETICS. Two weeks ago I guess I got this and I'm happy about it. In my case I have NC40 skin tone for reference, it gives a glow to my cheeks or even the entire face, I like when I just apply powder on my face and followed with this, its perfect! I am saving the rest for summer because its really nice glow when you're out. And what I like about it is the SCENT,smells gorgeous!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR5fUbomI/AAAAAAAAATQ/Jl2ZnWjT6go/s1600/coralista4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR5fUbomI/AAAAAAAAATQ/Jl2ZnWjT6go/s400/coralista4.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR7QutgsI/AAAAAAAAATU/xAG472_0MUU/s1600/coralista5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR7QutgsI/AAAAAAAAATU/xAG472_0MUU/s400/coralista5.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">It came with a brush which is real soft but until now I didn't use it. I am thinking it might pick up more product than what I needed so I just keep it aside(winks). The packaging is really classy but it doesn't have mirror except for BELLA BAMBA in this line. I'm not looking forward for BELLA BAMBA, it is too dark on my cheeks, I don't wanna look like a clown, well by applying it on my cheeks for several times in Sephora. I might give it a try again. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR9sCB9iI/AAAAAAAAATY/HF7k5PMbxUE/s1600/coralista6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVLR9sCB9iI/AAAAAAAAATY/HF7k5PMbxUE/s400/coralista6.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div>The good thing about the ingredients of this is there is NO PARABEN. Its a plus in my case. No wonder its a little spendy.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Let's do the math, $28/12grams is $2.33 you spend in every grams of the product! You think its worth it? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I think it is worth it, probably a gram you can use it two times or even more depends on the way how you apply it and it gives you the glow all day. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I got the recently lunched <span style="color: #990000;">CARRIED AWAY</span> Collection, fragrance mist, body lotion and shower gel. I love the smell that I can get the whole set of this collection. Usually I just grab one in a new collection. Depends in our preference though, but I easily get tired of scent of any kind, this is the reason why I stop buying EDT or EDP of a brand. I just end up giving it away.This is kind floral scent with jojoba and shea butter in it. Its a whimsical blend of<span style="color: #990000;"> lush raspberries, white jasmine and whipped vanilla</span>. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVGEvpVw6KI/AAAAAAAAASc/aeFct7XeRf8/s1600/primer2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVGEvpVw6KI/AAAAAAAAASc/aeFct7XeRf8/s400/primer2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<br />
If you are looking for a cheaper alternative of your smashbox this is it. I bought this actually to replace my smashbox primer. This is creamy and its packaging is better, meaning its in a bottle jar. If you have a perfect skin, you can just wear it alone and your good to go. For me that I need coverage this is just a primer. Stays long all day and smoothes your face out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVGE3N2twcI/AAAAAAAAASk/vhp5v1P5EsA/s1600/primer5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVGE3N2twcI/AAAAAAAAASk/vhp5v1P5EsA/s400/primer5.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<br />
The downside, it doesn't hide my pores, or any scar or blemishes, its just a simple primer to help your foundation stays put and glides and apply easily. Nothing extra ordinary to hype about this product. I don't know in the case of oily skin people as I have normal to dry skin.<br />
<br />

It is creamy, super soft, a little bit goes a long way. This is my drugstore primer all the way.....what's your drugstore primer? care to share?Chantzyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11162902450756277347noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3991916353990989747.post-26979780207764801512011-02-07T21:18:00.000-08:002011-02-07T21:18:02.120-08:00Wet N Wild Coloricon Eye shadow in Snow Sprite<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDJ74yWn3I/AAAAAAAAASI/SdnARTnRnwY/s1600/icon4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDJ74yWn3I/AAAAAAAAASI/SdnARTnRnwY/s400/icon4.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I bought this last year but I keep using it instead of sharing it. I use to adore Physician's Formula eye shadows because they are pigmented and last long just like high end products but didn't know I'll get hook with this brand when the hype started last year. I bought a few the first time but keep coming back in the drug store to grab some more soon as its on sale. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> <br />
This eyeshadow consist of blue's and green shades and it comes with a silver eyeliner pencil. As the other palettes they are uber pigmented...I have a normal to dry skin and my eyeshadow stays put with just a good primer. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKKDQyWhI/AAAAAAAAASU/hrHZUZWyIaQ/s1600/icon1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKKDQyWhI/AAAAAAAAASU/hrHZUZWyIaQ/s400/icon1.JPG" width="300" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is a close up view, shimmery, pigmented, just a little bit dab of brush goes a long way. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKGHfThyI/AAAAAAAAASQ/0TWQdzT3d54/s1600/icon2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKGHfThyI/AAAAAAAAASQ/0TWQdzT3d54/s400/icon2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The swatch of the greens on the left side of the palette, isn't it pretty?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKBmSCnHI/AAAAAAAAASM/NOOjE804p4o/s1600/icon3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TVDKBmSCnHI/AAAAAAAAASM/NOOjE804p4o/s400/icon3.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is the swatch of the right side of the palette, the blue's. Sorry this is the best shot I can take, didn't emphasize the light bluish on the middle, looks like silver, but in person its light bluish shade. I usually blog at night after work so lighting isn't great. By the way this retails $5 in the local drug store with 6 beautiful shades and 1 silver eyeliner pen. Of course I won't buy this with regular prize so I got it on BOGO half off! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

I'm so in love with this nail polish! what else can I say.....its my favorite now! Good for holidays I guess but I don't care....I keep staring my nails at work, been wearing this for a week now haha.....Chantzyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11162902450756277347noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3991916353990989747.post-72231647258520860382011-02-01T12:13:00.000-08:002011-02-01T13:31:42.059-08:00My Foundation Quest<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TUhgh7qUpKI/AAAAAAAAAR0/CmEcQPAZX9Q/s1600/foundation.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TUhgh7qUpKI/AAAAAAAAAR0/CmEcQPAZX9Q/s400/foundation.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">click to enlarge </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I quit my foundation routine last year of summer because my skin is behaving really well. All I need to do is a touch up of powder foundation which is Palladio and Maybelline Dream matte powder. In short I don't need to hide blemishes at all. Started Fall last year I've been into drinking coffee which is organic of course but still I break out before my monthly period on my forehead a zit or two which left a scar horribly and I'm not use of it. At night though I use Revlon Photoready foundation and my MAC studio fix fluid which I'm happy about. I felt that I'm not satisfied anymore and I feel ugly with those scars. So for the last 2 or 3 weeks I've been testing these liquid foundation everyday.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">MUFE</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">ESTEE LAUDER</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">SHISHEIDO</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">LANCOME TEINT IDOLE</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">CHANEL VITALUMIERE</div><br />
<b>MUFE</b> - light to medium coverage, I like it, long lasting, didn't cover my zit scar though, easy to blend<br />
<br />
<b>ESTEE LAUDER</b> - gets dry easily but glides smoothly, light coverage, accentuate my dark under eye<br />
<br />
<b>SHISHEIDO</b>- I got the darkest shade I thought it didn't much my skin tone but it blend well after 10 minutes. so so to me, smooth and glides easily, didn't cover my blemishes<br />
<br />
<b>LANCOME TEINT IDOLE</b>- I think I keep wearing this, I like the coverage, glowy finish, last long to me. I got the shade of Bisque 4W and 6W and blends well on my skin tone. Plus it covers my dark under eye which I didn't notice on the other samples I have<br />
<br />
<b>CHANEL VITALUMIERE</b>- light to medium coverage, glowy finish, so so to me<br />
<br />
Now, I won't stop searching until I will find what I'm looking for. I want to try the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk but Nordstrom in my place doesn't carry it, on my day off if I find time I need to drive an hour to go to the other Nordstrom store......<br />
<br />
FOR REFERENCE MY MAC SHADE IS 37 TO 40, NORMAL TO DRY, WARM UNDERTONE.<br />
<br />
Wish people have the same skin makes life easier and not to go search out in the planet to find a piece of needle...........I will update which foundation I will buy in regular size. I know for sure that I need different foundation in the summer and during the cold weather......Chantzyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11162902450756277347noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3991916353990989747.post-85327784651845436042011-01-31T08:59:00.000-08:002011-01-31T08:59:37.168-08:00I'm on Birch Box<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TUbnrl3R_aI/AAAAAAAAARw/Pa8o5bSaqKk/s1600/birchbox.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TUbnrl3R_aI/AAAAAAAAARw/Pa8o5bSaqKk/s320/birchbox.png" width="320" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">With my unending search of my HG foundie, I go to the cosmetics counter and I got tempted just by looking at these pretty products. We'll yesterday I decided to get my Clinique moisturizer at Nordstrom and ended up buying Viva Glam Gaga and MAC blush in Springsheen. Actually this is my first MAC lipstick, I've been wanting to get this shade but I just ended up killing my lemming for expensive stuff, in short I have discipline before than I do now LOL. But seriously I know the difference of high end versus drug store products. You can tell the difference just by the sample they give me at the cosmetic counters. I'm really happy because the Nordstrom people where I live are super nice, they give me good amount of sample here and there, weather you buy or not. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I've been swatching this baby many times at the cosmetic counter and I love love the color. <br />
Today's nail polish is <span style="color: #990000;">PLUM from ELF.</span> I don't know why lately I am hooked to some dark red shade so I was digging my nail polish collection and painted my nails today before work. This is 3 coat because I want to emphasize on the deep red color. You can do 2 coat its fine.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH9lVKQ1tI/AAAAAAAAAQM/W_SBdlAzjKk/s1600/plum3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH9lVKQ1tI/AAAAAAAAAQM/W_SBdlAzjKk/s400/plum3.JPG" width="400" /> </a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">(no flash with natural light) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH-EcHjcYI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/xzZNB38s1Lk/s1600/plum5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH-EcHjcYI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/xzZNB38s1Lk/s400/plum5.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">With Flash or natural, I love the color. As usual I always use the Sally Hansen Dries Instantly, I've been using this since the Seche Vite is not working as when you first open it. With this I can use it until the last drop plus its cheaper, half the price. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH_tBEeF5I/AAAAAAAAAQU/_Tq8CocqhxI/s1600/plum1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TTH_tBEeF5I/AAAAAAAAAQU/_Tq8CocqhxI/s400/plum1.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Do you like it? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
Finally I've been eyeing a coach purse for years, I got one yesterday yeheeyyy.....Went to the outlet store, always 20% off the price, the SA's hand coupon everyday which I think its a good deal, sometimes 25% on top of the sale they have. I chose this one because of the style, the size and the color, love the blue lining inside....because blue shade is my favorite....I thought it also goes with any clothes I wear and boots I have this winter. I bought it for $145(sigh).....Next purchase would be I don't know LOL, anyway I'm happy with it.Chantzyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11162902450756277347noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3991916353990989747.post-86347875167428439902011-01-12T23:19:00.000-08:002011-01-12T23:20:44.534-08:00Hard Candy Nail Polish in Mr. Wrong<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TS6hfmEYrwI/AAAAAAAAAPs/C_m9zxbGxmQ/s1600/nail.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TS6hfmEYrwI/AAAAAAAAAPs/C_m9zxbGxmQ/s400/nail.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is my first nail polish from Hard Candy line. I thought it was expensive than the other nail polish range of drug store like Revlon and etc..... I think I was impress of its consistency, so smooth and easy to apply. As far as I can remember from my nail polish collection this is the easiest nail polish painting I've ever done! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Its kind of purple with mix of silver tiny glitters in it. Its called <i><span style="color: #990000;">MR. WRONG</span></i> haha dunno why, the name is silly....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

I do the grocery shopping all the time at home so I always see what's new in store, well its because I use drugstore makeup only other than couple of MAC items I have. Anyhoo, for 2010 I used so much of these products and it means its my favorite right? Lets start with my foundation I use everyday and until now.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSc2qJFCzDI/AAAAAAAAAPI/bqYeHWtrUYU/s1600/fav2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSc2qJFCzDI/AAAAAAAAAPI/bqYeHWtrUYU/s400/fav2.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> I use <span style="color: #990000;">MAC Studio Fix Fluid</span> everyday until I found an alternative which is <span style="color: #990000;">Revlon PhotoReady</span>. I want to save the MAC as much as I can so I use the Photoready everyday at work. I use the <span style="color: #990000;">Golden Beige</span> and <span style="color: #990000;">Medium Beige</span> for my skin tone it doesn't make a difference to me. Not shimmery as others claim it. The studio fix fluid is too dark on my skin tone during summer but now its winter I can actually use it and by the way its in<span style="color: #990000;"> NC40 </span>shade, I don't know why it should be the other way around. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdLk1bv-xI/AAAAAAAAAPM/CVWF0I3iA0U/s1600/powder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdLk1bv-xI/AAAAAAAAAPM/CVWF0I3iA0U/s400/powder.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">After applying a thin layer of liquid foundie, I dab it off with <span style="color: #990000;">Maybelline Dream Matte Powder </span>and its in <span style="color: #990000;">Medium 2-2.5 </span>shade. I use it everyday and its my second pan, I need to buy some more, when I am on rush I just use it with brush and blend it all around my face, works fine for me.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdQu81SUuI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/whHNRQB4_20/s1600/h1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdQu81SUuI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/whHNRQB4_20/s400/h1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my concealer Nyx comes the best. The <span style="color: #990000;">Concealer in a jar</span> works best for me, covers up pretty much everything blemishes and under eye area. I bought several concealer according to reviews but I end up going back to this jar. I got it in <span style="color: #990000;">TAN</span> shade. Drug store eyeshadow base <span style="color: #990000;">Loreal Decrease</span> works fine, staying power is 4 hours but the eyeshadow still there except my outer corner color is not define anymore until when I get home from 8 hour shift. There's bunch of eyeshadow primer now coming out from drug store brand so I will try some more products. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdWmIfNwKI/AAAAAAAAAPU/QtcyjyzEQlQ/s1600/highs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdWmIfNwKI/AAAAAAAAAPU/QtcyjyzEQlQ/s400/highs.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my highlighter, when I ran out of my MAC MSF I tried Physician Formula in Light Bronze Pearl and works the same, can't even tell the difference! I'm sure I'm gonna buy again, almost done with it also haha. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdhW5hFhxI/AAAAAAAAAPY/S4az7PmaUF0/s1600/lots+eyeshadows.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8LOHJHGmDV4/TSdhW5hFhxI/AAAAAAAAAPY/S4az7PmaUF0/s400/lots+eyeshadows.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">click to enlarge</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For eye shadow, I've been using this a lot! <span style="color: #990000;">The Nyx 10 eye shadow palette </span>on their <span style="color: #990000;">Runway Collection</span> in <span style="color: #990000;">Secret World</span> is a daily eye shadow for me. I used it a lot last Fall.They are pigmented, easy to blend and mix and match the colors for me. I have the other 2 palette but this is my favorite. For a neutral look, I like the <span style="color: #990000;">Physician Formula Baked Collection </span>in <span style="color: #990000;">Baked Sands</span>, pigmented, can be use wet or dry, its the go eye shadow for me when I can't think of colors to blend. I love purple and I have the <span style="color: #990000;">Revlon ColorStay 12 hour eye shadow</span> in <span style="color: #990000;">20 Sunrise Sunset</span>, its a good buy for the color pay off is awesome. Lastly, I have the <span style="color: #990000;">Maybelline Eyestudio in Khaki Craze</span>, beautiful color for me, 2 colors, dark green and a mix of golden and and green tint in it, the shimmers are light not too bold. I'm a sucker of eye shadow so you'll probably see me blogging about them most of the time :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div>For my Mascara, other than the Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara, I use the Stilleto for few months until the <span style="color: #990000;">Falsies Volume Express </span>from Maybelline came out. Love it, makes it look like falsies as it claims especially if you have long lashes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I think I need to end with this one, facial moisturizer, cleanser, makeup remover will be in another post.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks for taking time to read. Have a good day!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
