If you are looking for a cheaper alternative of your smashbox this is it. I bought this actually to replace my smashbox primer. This is creamy and its packaging is better, meaning its in a bottle jar. If you have a perfect skin, you can just wear it alone and your good to go. For me that I need coverage this is just a primer. Stays long all day and smoothes your face out.

The downside, it doesn't hide my pores, or any scar or blemishes, its just a simple primer to help your foundation stays put and glides and apply easily. Nothing extra ordinary to hype about this product. I don't know in the case of oily skin people as I have normal to dry skin.

It is creamy, super soft, a little bit goes a long way. This is my drugstore primer all the way.....what's your drugstore primer? care to share?

Weight: .21 F oz/6.3ml

Price: $10
Where to buy: any drugstore

I was looking for like a light purple shade of lipstick but I couldn't find any in the drugstore, most of them are too dark for my skin tone. Since its winter I've been liking lip gloss or lip balm to sooth my dry lips lately. I was disappointed at one point because I can't wear lipstick even on summer. My lips are too dry until I found the EOS lip balm and then the NYC lip gliders which is my staple lip product I use everyday. It made my lips way moisturize that is why I'm into hunt for some good lippies now.

 PROS:
              long lasting as it claims
              light weight consistency
              sheer but buildable
              non-greasy
              no funky smell
              doesn't fade
it glides easily and doesn't look dirty on the lips

CONS: nothing I can think of

I love the applicator, so much easier to apply, seems like you can get most out of the product in one application.

                                                               with flash

                                                             in natural light

I am so in love with the color. I would definitely buy some more shades!

2010 Most Used Products

Though I was idle for quite sometime in blogging, it doesn't mean that I'm not into make up anymore. I do the grocery shopping all the time at home so I always see what's new in store, well its because I use drugstore makeup only other than couple of MAC items I have. Anyhoo, for 2010 I used so much of these products and it means its my favorite right? Lets start with my foundation I use everyday and until now.

I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid everyday until I found an alternative which is Revlon PhotoReady. I want to save the MAC as much as I can so I use the Photoready everyday at work. I use the Golden Beige and Medium Beige for my skin tone it doesn't make a difference to me. Not shimmery as others claim it. The studio fix fluid is too dark on my skin tone during summer but now its winter I can actually use it and by the way its in NC40 shade, I don't know why it should be the other way around.

After applying a thin layer of liquid foundie, I dab it off with Maybelline Dream Matte Powder and its in Medium 2-2.5 shade. I use it everyday and its my second pan, I need to buy some more, when I am on rush I just use it with brush and blend it all around my face, works fine for me.

For my concealer Nyx comes the best. The Concealer in a jar works best for me, covers up pretty much everything blemishes and under eye area. I bought several concealer according to reviews but I end up going back to this jar. I got it in TAN shade. Drug store eyeshadow base Loreal Decrease works fine, staying power is 4 hours but the eyeshadow still there except my outer corner color is not define anymore until when I get home from 8 hour shift. There's bunch of eyeshadow primer now coming out from drug store brand so I will try some more products.

For my highlighter, when I ran out of my MAC MSF I tried Physician Formula in Light Bronze Pearl and works the same, can't even tell the difference! I'm sure I'm gonna buy again, almost done with it also haha.

For eye shadow, I've been using this a lot! The Nyx 10 eye shadow palette on their Runway Collection in Secret World is a daily eye shadow for me. I used it a lot last Fall. They are pigmented, easy to blend and mix and match the colors for me. I have the other 2 palette but this is my favorite. For a neutral look, I like the Physician Formula Baked Collection in Baked Sands, pigmented, can be use wet or dry, its the go eye shadow for me when I can't think of colors to blend. I love purple and I have the Revlon ColorStay 12 hour eye shadow in 20 Sunrise Sunset, its a good buy for the color pay off is awesome. Lastly, I have the Maybelline Eyestudio in Khaki Craze, beautiful color for me, 2 colors, dark green and a mix of golden and and green tint in it, the shimmers are light not too bold. I'm a sucker of eye shadow so you'll probably see me blogging about them most of the time :)

For my Mascara, other than the Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara, I use the Stilleto for few months until the Falsies Volume Express from Maybelline came out. Love it, makes it look like falsies as it claims especially if you have long lashes.

I think I need to end with this one, facial moisturizer, cleanser, makeup remover will be in another post.
Thanks for taking time to read. Have a good day!

Loreal Passport to Paradise Summer 2010

Blue is one of my favorite color especially in nail polish. This is a bright creamy blue I'm in love with. Its one of the Passport to Paradise summer 2010 collection. I only grab one to see how its like. This is called OCEAN BREEZE. I love it! its creamy, kinda thick but maybe you can use a thinner to minimize the consistency. There are 3 nail polish in this collection HIGH TIDE, WATER EDGE and OCEAN BREEZE.

Pardon the imperfections! This is 2 coat with top coat. I love this nail polish so much. So far this is my favorite blue color among China Glaze, Orly and all drug store brands. I'll keep wearing it!

PRICE: $4.99 each

PS: I got compliments of my nail polish today at work :D
